The Perklen Center prides itself in offering Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral students an opportunity to build therapeutic skills by working side-by-side with the treatment team. Perklen Center has worked with the University of Northern Colorado, Adams State University, Regis University and others. It is Perklen Center's goal to help Masters and Doctoral interns learn how to be present and engaged with individuals seeking services, as well as to challenge them in areas of growth and reinforce their areas of strength. Perklen Center works with Bachelors interns to understand the complex and delicate nature of the counseling field, as well as give them first hand experience working in an office that provides a multitude of services.
